OUR STORY

YAMA, which in Japanese means ‘mountain’, pays homage to the restaurant’s enviable location on rue de la Montagne, and the ancient belief that the mountain is central to resources such as fresh water, nutrients, meats, fruits and vegetables necessary for good health and well-being.

THE DESIGN

Upon entering the warm, open space which moves effortlessly through the main level, guests are greeted by YAMA’s imposing free-flowing 360º oblong bar and open kitchen which anchors the welcoming, social space.

Designed using natural materials and a colour palate that derives inspiration from mountainous regions, YAMA draws people together with a spirit, Pan-Asian menu and cocktail program that is designed to be sensory, elevated and special.
